Along with the other Ferguson Group companies, Ferguson Modular and Ferguson Norge , Ferguson Seacabs has played an active role in Aberdeenshire since the business was established in 1976.  The area has provided us with a loyal workforce and the space to develop excellent manufacturing facilities and we aim to ensure we continue to give something back to the local community, not only in terms of employment but also in the form of supporting local projects and sports events.

Ferguson Teams Make a Splash!
The 31^st of March saw Ferguson Modular Ltd & Ferguson Seacabs Ltd each entering a team of eight into the Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland White Water Rafting Challenge.

Joined by seven other groups, the two teams raced across a 5 mile stretch of the icy River Tay then navigated the rapids. The Ferguson Modular team took third place with a time of 51 minutes 36 seconds, and the Ferguson Seacabs team took seventh place with a time of 54 minutes 7 seconds.

The Ferguson teams raised a total of £2,000 for the charity and a great (but wet) time was had by all! Many thanks to everyone who sponsored us. Over the course of two weekends, 91 teams raised £109,000 for the charity.

Ferguson Seacabs Golf Outings
Taking a well earned break from the busy Container Base, John Duncan, Martin Sharp  and Malcolm Mearns, entered the Craibstone Golf Club Pro-Am competition on Friday 14th July.  Unfortunately no trophies were won by the Ferguson Seacabs team this time, but a great day was had by all none the less!

Torcher Parade 2006
For the 8th year running, Ferguson Seacabs was delighted to take part in the Aberdeen Student’s Torcher Parade on 29th April. Dating back to 1889, the event attracts thousands of spectators every year and is the students’ largest fundraising event. Originally dependent on using horse-drawn carts as floats, the modern day event now relies on the generosity of local firms to supply the horsepower in the form of suitable vehicles. This years event saw three of our large goods vehicles transporting students in a variety of guises along the circular route through the city centre.


Middlefield Wasps
Ferguson Seacabs can announce that they are the proud sponsors of Middlefield Wasps under 14's Football Team. The team have all been kitted out in a smart new strip bearing the Ferguson Seacabs logo. First established in 1968, the team is one of the biggest boy’s football teams in the area and plays in the Great Northern Trophies League B. The boys have had their ‘fair’ share of success recently as demonstrated by their win in Blackpool, England where they secured the Fairplay Trophy.
Coached by a member of Ferguson Seacabs staff, the boys are working hard to remain a team to be reckoned with.
