April 2009 - Ferguson Seacabs Appoints New UK Country Manager E-mail

Ferguson Seacabs, a division of the Ferguson Group, has appointed Graham Donnelly as UK country manager as part of a continuing global growth strategy.

Graham joins Ferguson Seacabs, a major international supplier of offshore containers for the energy industry, from Oilcareers and has 18 years experience in the oil and gas transportation market.

Ferguson Seacabs chief executive officer Eirik Ellingsen said: “This is a significant appointment for Ferguson Seacabs which will help the company continue its expansion both in the UK market and internationally.”

Graham’s appointment is part of the Ferguson Group’s strategic management restructure, with the aim of enabling the company to further progress its already successful rapid international growth. Graham will head up a team of over twenty staff at Ferguson Seacabs Bridge of Don Aberdeen base.

The restructure also saw the appointment of Bill England as technical director. Bill has been with Ferguson Seacabs since 1982, with the majority of his career spent as general manager of Ferguson Seacabs UK in addition to heading up container operational activities internationally. In his new position as technical director, Bill will have overall responsibility for all technical and procurement matters relating to container fleets in the UK, Norway, Australia and Singapore bases.

Eirik Ellingsen continues: “These appointments will allow the company to both build upon our current fleet and also maintain our high quality standards as our units operate in an ever increasing number of locations around the world.”
